CONTEST DETAILS Each prize consists of a full day, on-site energy assessment by a certified energy manager covering electricity and all fuels, and is valued at three thousand dollars ($3,000). The energy assessment will prioritize technical opportunities and management practices. The energy manager will originate from the Willis Energy Services office—in either Vancouver or Toronto—that is closest to the Winner’s location. The Winner is responsible for the energy manager’s travel costs to and from the location of the on-site energy assessment. Travel costs will vary based on the distance of the Winner’s location from a Willis Energy Services office. After a Winner has been notified, a mutually-agreed upon date for the energy assessment will be determined. The Winner must provide, three weeks prior to the on-site energy assessment, the following information: 1) electric motor list; 2) one-line electrical power distribution system drawing; 3) three-year production and operating history; and 4) information on control system in use, if any. The Contest begins on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and ends Tuesday, June 30, 2009. One (1) prize will be awarded each month during the Contest period, for a total of twelve (12) prizes.
